Tuesday, June 20 - Depart from LAX or the airport you choose to arrive in Tokyo, Japan. Fly into Narita Airport. See below for the flight itinerary for the coaches.
Travel Notes: If joining this trip now you will get your own airline ticket. Total due for the land portion in Japan is $2,750.
Coaches Flight Itinerary:
6/20/23: Depart at 12:45pm on United 7945 LAX to NRT. Arrive in Japan on at 4:30pm on June 21st. (Crossing international date line).
7/4/23: Depart at 5:00pm on United 7946 NRT to LAX. Arrive in Los Angeles at 11:25am on July 4th. (Crossing international date line).
Wednesday, June 21 - Arrive in Japan at 4:30pm on United 7945. Hotel shuttle to Toyoko Inn Narita Airport Shinkan, Narita and then free time. Please arrive at NRT by 6:00pm Japan time if you are using a different itinerary.
Osaka Portion:
Thursday, June 22 - Morning departure for travel by train to Osaka Station. Check into Hotel Hankyu Respire, Osaka and then free time.
Friday, June 23 - Organized sightseeing in Osaka starts at 9:00 a.m. Stops include Osaka Castle and Shitennoji Temple. Meet hosts for Home-Stay with Japanese lacrosse players at 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 24 - International Friendship Games game day. Game times TBA. Return to host family homes.
Sunday, June 25 - Game day #2. Game times TBA. Check back into Hotel Hankyu Respire, Osaka after games.
Gotemba Hot Springs Portion:
Monday, June 26 - Depart Osaka hotel at 7:00 a.m. to travel by train to Gotemba. Hike foothills of Mt. Fuji, Gotemba Trailhead, 5th Station. Check into Gotemba Kogen Tokinosumika, a Gotemba hot springs resort, at 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 27 - Sightseeing and free time at Gotemba hot springs in the morning. Depart by train for Tokyo after lunch. Check into National Olympics Memorial Youth Center (1964 Olympic Village) in Tokyo at 5:00 p.m.
Tokyo Portion:
Wednesday, June 28 - Depart for sightseeing around Tokyo at 9:00 a.m. Ohnishi Family hosted dinner at 7:00pm at Tsuru Ton Tan Udon Noodle Shibuya Brasserie Shibuya, Tokyo in Shibuya Scramble Square. Return to National Olympics Memorial Youth Center.
Thursday, June 29 - Game day, afternoon time TBA. Return at night to National Olympics Memorial Youth Center.
Friday, June 30- Half day of sightseeing and half day of free time. Return at night to National Olympics Memorial Youth Center.
Saturday, July 1 - Morning mixed scrimmaging at Japan Women's College of Physical Education. Go to Home-Stay with Japanese lacrosse players after the game.
Sunday, July 2 - Morning mixed scrimmaging at University of the Sacred Heart. Return to host family homes in the afternoon.
Monday, July 3 - Goodbye to host families in the morning and then free time in Tokyo during the day. Check into Shinagawa Prince Hotel (North Tower).
Tuesday, July 4 - Mid-day train to Narita Airport for 5:00pm departure for flight to LAX. Arrive at LAX at 11:25am on July 4th. (Crossing international date line).
